Meeting House & Community Park

A Civic Anchor for Gathering, Wellness, and Play

This Meeting House project in Randal Park is envisioned as a vibrant civic and recreational hub, designed to foster community connection, wellness, and outdoor enjoyment. Anchored by a classically inspired Meeting House accommodating up to 200 guests, the site integrates architecture and landscape to support a wide range of social, cultural, and recreational activities.

The Meeting House serves as a flexible venue for neighborhood gatherings, lectures, celebrations, and civic events. Its design draws from regional vernacular traditions, with generous porches, natural ventilation, and timeless detailing that reflect the spirit of Central Florida’s architectural heritage.

Adjacent to the Meeting House, a six-lane lap pool provides opportunities for fitness, swim instruction, and casual recreation. The pool area is framed by shaded seating and native landscaping, creating a serene environment for all ages.

A thoughtfully designed playground encourages imaginative play and physical activity, while a series of open-air park structures—pavilions, picnic shelters, and trellised seating areas—offer shaded spaces for informal gatherings, weekend cookouts, and community programming.

Together, these elements form a cohesive civic ensemble that balances formality and leisure, tradition and flexibility. The project emphasizes walkability, ecological sensitivity, and human-scaled design—creating a place where residents can gather, recharge, and build lasting connections.
