Hoepker Residence

2005, College Park Historic District, Orlando, Florida.

On a picturesque lake in historic College Park, this classical home is tucked into one of Orlando’s last remaining residential lots. It is designed to fit comfortably into the traditional architecture of the neighborhood. Challenged by the “L”-shaped configuration of the lot and a 30 foot height limitation mandated by the Historic District, the design surprisingly achieves elegant classical proportions reminiscent of our best historic precedence. The home is designed with three parts: a main body with a classical portico, central hall and formal rooms; a rear wing with three-car garage and guest suite; and a three-story family wing where the dining room, kitchen and family room open onto a 55-foot by 16-foot deep veranda overlooking the pool and lake.
